A class 11 student was allegedly stabbed by another at a government school in northwest Delhi's Jahangirpuri area, police reported on Saturday.

The injured student was rushed to a nearby hospital and is currently undergoing treatment. The incident was sparked by a minor disagreement between the two students on Friday.

Authorities said the juvenile suspect, who had concealed a knife in his school bag, was taken into custody. He attacked the victim in retaliation for something the victim had said the day before. Following his arrest, the suspect was presented to the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) and subsequently sent to a juvenile home.

An investigation into the matter is still in progress.
