Thieves Swindle Over Rs 4 Lakh from ATM in Maharashtra

In a heist in Vasai, Maharashtra's Palghar district, thieves broke into an Axis Bank ATM and made off with over Rs 4 lakh. The incident occurred around 4 am, and a case has been registered under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita with an ongoing investigation.

In the early hours of Wednesday, thieves allegedly broke open an ATM machine belonging to Axis Bank in Vasai, located in Maharashtra's Palghar district, and made off with more than Rs 4 lakh in cash, according to police reports.

The incident took place around 4 am at the ATM centre in Naigaon, a police official disclosed. Authorities have initiated a probe into the matter.

A case has been registered under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, signaling the start of a comprehensive investigation aimed at apprehending the culprits.
