This multi-day trip marks the most significant visit by a Ukrainian official to China since Russia's full-scale invasion in February 2022, a move Beijing has notably avoided condemning. Kuleba stated that he anticipated 'thorough and substantive talks' on key issues.

'I am convinced that a just peace in Ukraine aligns with China's strategic interests,' Kuleba remarked, emphasizing China's role as a global peace force.
