India's 'special relationship' with the Maldives, grounded in shared democratic values, remains strong, the Indian mission has stated, expressing hope for enhanced Parliamentary linkages with the archipelago.
The Indian High Commissioner to the Maldives, Munu Mahawar, met with Maldives Speaker Abdul Raheem Abdulla, reaffirming the positive diplomatic connection.
