The Kremlin, responding to concerns about inflation and an overheating economy on Friday, stated that every economy faces certain challenges and assured that appropriate measures are being implemented in Russia.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov emphasized to reporters that economic indicators related to growth and the economy's development remained 'highly positive.'
On the same day, Russia's central bank is expected to increase its key rate in an effort to curb inflation, which is currently exceeding an annual rate of 9%.
