Arrest Made in Chilling Bengaluru PG Murder Case

Abhishek Ghoshi, the prime suspect in the murder of Kriti Kumari at a Bengaluru paying guest accommodation, has been arrested in Raisen, Madhya Pradesh. Ghoshi, studying in Bengaluru for the past four years, allegedly slit Kumari's throat. He is now in Karnataka Police custody for further investigation.

A 23-year-old man, identified as Abhishek Ghoshi, was apprehended from Raisen in Madhya Pradesh for allegedly murdering a woman at a paying guest accommodation in Bengaluru, a senior officer reported on Saturday.

Raisen Superintendent of Police Vikas Sahwal stated that Ghoshi, who has been studying in Karnataka's capital for four years, was arrested at around 4 AM on Friday and handed over to Karnataka Police.

Ghoshi is accused of killing Kriti Kumari, 24, originally from Bihar, on July 23. A chilling video shows Ghoshi dragging Kumari out of her room and slitting her throat. The motive remains unknown, and further investigation is ongoing.
