Arunachal Pradesh Becomes 'Frontrunner' in NITI Aayog’s SDG Scorecard

Arunachal Pradesh has advanced from a 'performer' to a 'frontrunner' in NITI Aayog's Sustainable Development Goals scorecard for 2023-24. Chief Minister Pema Khandu announced this achievement after participating in the NITI Aayog Governing Council Meeting, expressing optimism about the state's potential in various sectors as part of a 'Viksit Bharat'.

Arunachal Pradesh has made significant progress, advancing from a 'performer' to a 'frontrunner' according to NITI Aayog's Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) scorecard for 2023-24, Chief Minister Pema Khandu announced.

Khandu shared the news after attending the 9th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog. 'Proud to represent Arunachal Pradesh at the meeting! Thrilled to share that our state has upgraded from a 'Performer' to a 'Front Runner' State,' he stated on 'X'.

Highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision, Khandu outlined his state's potential contributions in tourism, agriculture, mines, green energy, and hydropower, aiming for a 'Viksit Arunachal' and a 'Viksit Bharat'. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of setting zero poverty targets at the village level and addressing poverty individually.
