Tragic Flooding Incident in Delhi Coaching Centre Claims Lives of Aspirants

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed sorrow over the deaths of three civil services aspirants due to flooding in a Delhi coaching centre. BSP and SP leaders also conveyed their condolences. Shreya Yadav from Uttar Pradesh, among the deceased, received state support and prayers from officials and families.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday expressed grief over the tragic deaths of three civil services aspirants after the basement of a coaching centre in Delhi's Old Rajinder Nagar was flooded due to heavy rains.

Leaders from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Samajwadi Party (SP) also shared their anguish over the unfortunate incident, which claimed the lives of students trapped in the library of Rau's IAS Study Circle.

Adityanath, in a message on X (formerly Twitter), extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, while officials were directed to meet the family of Shreya Yadav, a victim from Ambedkar Nagar in Uttar Pradesh, and to provide assistance. Other officials and family members were also involved in the support process as Shreya’s body was transported back home.
