Opposition parties in Delhi have denounced the tragic death of three civil services aspirants, trapped in a flooded basement, as a 'man-made disaster.' They blamed the AAP-led Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) for the mishap, accusing it of negligence.
The AAP, however, shifted responsibility to the BJP, which was in power over the municipal body for 15 years. AAP MLA Rajinder Nagar emphasized the need for a thorough investigation and condemned turning the incident into a political blame game.
Both BJP and Congress leaders have demanded accountability and immediate action to prevent such occurrences in the future, citing the poor condition of Delhi's drainage system as a critical factor.
