Delhi Police announced on Monday the arrest of five more individuals linked to a tragic flooding event in a four-story building's basement in Rajinder Nagar, which resulted in the deaths of three IAS aspirants following heavy rains. This brings the total number of arrests in the case to seven. The detained include the building's basement owner and an individual who drove a vehicle suspected of causing damage that led to flooding.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central), M Harsha Vardhan, revealed that each floor of the building is owned by a different person. Already, the owner and the coordinator of the Rau's IAS Study Circle in the Old Rajinder Nagar area have been arrested, facing charges of culpable homicide and other offenses.
