NCB Cracks Down on Meth Smuggling Racket

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has successfully busted a major meth smuggling operation, seizing approximately six kilograms of methamphetamine and arresting three individuals. An additional 954 grams of methamphetamine and Rs 7 lakh were recovered from a godown, and further investigations are ongoing.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) confirmed on Monday the seizure of about six kilograms of methamphetamine, accompanied by the arrest of three individuals. The NCB's official social media post stated, 'Meth smuggling racket busted... 5.97 kg methamphetamine seized and 2 persons arrested.'

In a follow-up operation, another individual was detained, and a godown containing an additional 954 grams of methamphetamine and Rs 7 lakh was identified and raided. Further investigations into the smuggling racket are currently underway.

The NCB's efforts highlight ongoing initiatives to curb the spread and distribution of illegal narcotics within the region.
