Sudan's Top Commander Survives Drone Attack During Military Graduation

The attack, which utilized two drones, occurred in the town of Gebeit immediately following the ceremony, and resulted in the deaths of five people. Lt. Col. Hassan Ibrahim, a military spokesperson, assured that Burhan was not harmed.

For over a year, Sudan has been embroiled in a violent conflict between the military and the Rapid Support Forces. The ongoing strife has forced military and government leaders to operate primarily from the eastern region near the Red Sea Coast.
