Man Arrested for Outraging Woman's Modesty on Express Train

A man identified as Ramesh Deveraj Singh, aged 22, has been arrested for allegedly outraging the modesty of a 35-year-old woman on a moving express train, according to officials on Wednesday.
The incident took place on July 30 while Singh was traveling on the Mumbai-bound Saurashtra Mail, and the female victim was asleep on a lower berth.
Upon the woman's alarm, fellow passengers detained Singh and handed him over to the police. He now faces charges under section 74 of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita and section 147 of the Indian Railway Rules.
