Speaking during a televised address at Shukr's funeral, Nasrallah stated that a 'definite' and 'studied' response would follow.

The Israeli strike on Tuesday in Beirut's southern suburb not only killed Shukr but also an Iranian military adviser and five civilians. Concurrently, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed in Tehran, an attack widely attributed to Israel. These incidents signify a new phase in the Hezbollah-Israel conflict.
