Judge Aanchal of Tis Hazari district courts emphasized that the victim had repeatedly pleaded with folded hands for mercy. The convict ignored her, committing the offense to satisfy his sexual desires.

Ankit also received additional sentences for house trespass, theft, and causing hurt. The court noted that no evidence suggested the crime was conducted under duress, thereby underscoring its premeditated nature. The case has been referred to the Delhi State Legal Services Authority for victim compensation.
