Saeeda Vineeta Takes On New Role at National Green Tribunal

Saeeda Vineeta has recently been appointed as the new registrar general at the principal bench of the National Green Tribunal. She's a seasoned member of the Madhya Pradesh Judicial Services, having joined in 2007 and advancing to various significant roles. Her extensive experience includes dealing with diverse civil and criminal cases.

Saeeda Vineeta has been named the new registrar general of the principal bench of the National Green Tribunal, following her recent joining on deputation from the Madhya Pradesh Judicial Services. Vineeta entered the state’s judicial service in 2007 as a civil judge (junior division) and climbed the ranks to the senior division by 2012.

She ascended to the position of district judge in October 2018 and has also served as the secretary of the Madhya Pradesh District Legal Services Authority (DLSA). Moreover, she contributed as a faculty member at the MP Judicial Academy starting in April 2022. Over her 16-year tenure, Vineeta handled numerous civil and criminal matters, from land acquisitions and arbitration proceedings to POCSO cases and motor accident incidents. As the DLSA secretary, she was instrumental in victim compensation schemes.

Vineeta's appointment as registrar general, effected on July 27, was made by a selection committee.
