Russian shelling in a residential area led to the death of one person and injured two others on Saturday in a strategic logistical hub in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region, according to the regional governor.
"The Russians hit civilians on purpose and regularly," stated Vadym Filashkin, the Donetsk regional governor, on the Telegram messaging app. "Don't risk your life! Evacuate!"
Reuters witnesses reported seeing a helmet near a pool of blood and a moped close to a crater on a residential street. Smoke rose from the remains of one house and another building was gutted by fire.
