Madarssa Hostel Tragedy: Student Apprehended for Murder

A madarssa student was apprehended on Sunday in connection with the alleged murder of another student at a hostel, police reported.
Ayan, a 12-year-old class 2 student, was discovered dead in the hostel on Friday with multiple stab wounds.
According to Additional Superintendent of Police Yogesh Kumar, the apprehended juvenile admitted to killing Ayan following a verbal argument. The two boys resided in the same hostel.
The suspect revealed that he had premeditated the murder, purchasing a knife from the market before fatally stabbing Ayan.
The ASP also confirmed the recovery of the murder weapon. Investigations are ongoing.
