Bangalore CCB Inspector Found Dead in Bidadi: Suspected Suicide

In a tragic development, Inspector Thimmegowda of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) of the Bengaluru Police was discovered dead on Monday. The inspector, who was in his 50s, was found hanging from a tree in a deserted area of Bidadi on the city's outskirts.

Recently working with the Economic Offences Wing of the CCB, Thimmegowda's death is suspected to be a case of suicide according to the police. However, no note was found, leaving the exact reasons for his action unknown. 'No visible injury marks were found on his body. We don't know the exact reason which led him to take this extreme step. Only after we receive the post-mortem report, we can ascertain the exact cause of death. We are investigating the matter,' a senior police officer stated.

This tragic event comes merely three days after the death of 34-year-old police sub-inspector Parashuram in Yadgir, raising concerns among the police force.
