Union Minister Emphasizes Modi Government's All-Round Development Focus

Union minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh 'Lalan' addressed the Lok Sabha, asserting that the Modi government does not discriminate among states and is committed to the country's all-round development. He highlighted the allocation of funds to West Bengal for fisheries projects, advancements in the fisheries sector, and ongoing efforts to support fishermen and cattle breeders with advanced, cost-effective technologies.

Union minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh 'Lalan' stated in the Lok Sabha that the Narendra Modi government ensures inclusive development across all states, dismissing claims of regional bias in centrally-sponsored projects.

During a debate on the Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying ministry's grant demands, Singh noted funds allocated to West Bengal for initiatives like Blue Revolution and PM Matasya Sampada Yojna.

He emphasized the Modi government’s achievements in doubling fisheries production and maintaining India’s position as the world's second-largest producer. Singh also addressed US restrictions on sea-water shrimp imports, steps to prevent illegal fishing activities with transponders, and developing affordable IVF technology for cattle breeders.
