Major IAS Officers Reshuffle in Gujarat: Key Transfers Announced
The Gujarat government announced the transfer of 10 IAS officers, including the collectors of Narmada, Porbandar, and Sabarkantha districts. In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Gujarat government has transferred 10 IAS officers, affecting major administrative positions across the state.
According to a notification from the General Administration Department, Narmada collector Shweta Teotia has been appointed as director (administration) of Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd in Vadodara. S K Modi, the district development officer of Gandhinagar, will replace Teotia.
Other notable changes include Porbandar collector K D Lakhani becoming the director of labour in Gandhinagar, and SD Dhanani, the district development officer of Devbhumi-Dwarka, taking over as the new collector of Porbandar. Additionally, Sabarkantha collector N N Dave is moving to Valsad, with Ratankanvar Gadhavicharan, the state project director of Samagra Siksha Abhiyan, replacing him.
Further appointments include N V Upadhyay, the municipal commissioner of Bhavnagar, becoming the registrar of co-operative societies in Gandhinagar, with Sujeet Kumar taking over as the civic chief. Lalit Narayan Singh Sandu has been named the state project director of Samagra Siksha Abhiyan, and B J Patel will serve as the district development officer of Gandhinagar.
