Hezbollah Vows Strong Response to Commander's Killing

Hezbollah's retaliation included drone attacks on Israeli military sites, while Israeli airstrikes hit Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon. The ongoing hostilities parallel the war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas.

Israeli medical officials confirmed that seven civilians were hospitalized following drone attacks near Acre, with one in critical condition. An Israeli military investigation revealed that the injuries were caused by an interceptor that missed its target. The day also saw four Hezbollah fighters killed in a strike on a home in Mayfadoun, Lebanon.
