High-Level Bureaucratic Reshuffle: Key Appointments Announced

Senior IAS officers Devesh Chaturvedi and Sandeep Pondrik have been named Agriculture and Steel secretaries as per a Personnel Ministry order. Multiple upgradations within the government also saw Punya Salila Srivastava, Anurag Agarwal, Chandra Sekhar Kumar, Tanmay Kumar, Amit Agrawal, and Deepti Gaur Mukerjee elevated to higher positions.

Senior IAS officers Devesh Chaturvedi and Sandeep Pondrik have been appointed as Agriculture and Steel secretaries, respectively, according to a Personnel Ministry order.

Chaturvedi, a 1989-batch IAS officer, is currently serving in Uttar Pradesh. His appointment as Secretary of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare was approved on August 6.

Pondrik, a 1993-batch IAS officer, is serving in Bihar. He has been appointed as Secretary of the Ministry of Steel.

The ACC has also approved in-situ upgradation of six officers, including Punya Salila Srivastava, Anurag Agarwal, Chandra Sekhar Kumar, Tanmay Kumar, Amit Agrawal, and Deepti Gaur Mukerjee.
