Major Bureaucratic Shakeup: Key Appointments Announced

The Centre has initiated a major reshuffle in top-level bureaucratic positions, impacting several crucial ministries and departments. Amit Singh Negi, a senior IAS officer from the Uttarakhand cadre, has been appointed additional secretary in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), as per an official order.

Samir Ashwin Vakil, an IRS officer, has been named director in the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs for five years. Maneesh Garg, Sanjay Kumar, and Ajeet Kumar have been appointed deputy election commissioners in the Election Commission of India.

Furthermore, Manisha Saxena will transition from her role in the Ministry of Tourism to the Department of Personnel & Training, while Mugdha Sinha will take her place. Other notable appointments include Ajay Bhadoo in the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and Nand Kumarum as CEO of National eGovernance Division.
