A 19-year-old has been detained in Austria for allegedly plotting to kill people outside a stadium at a Taylor Swift concert, prompting the cancellation of the pop superstar's three shows in Vienna this week. Two other teenagers have been identified as suspects.

The 19-year-old, an Austrian national with North Macedonian roots, was arrested early Wednesday during a police operation at his home in Ternitz. The teen had posted a video online confessing to the plot and had recently quit his job, stating he "had big plans," according to public security chief Franz Ruf.

A search of his home revealed bomb-making materials, Islamic State propaganda, counterfeit money, machetes, knives, and blank ammunition. The suspect had stolen chemicals from his former workplace, a metal processing company. Meanwhile, a 17-year-old Austrian with Turkish-Croatian roots and a 15-year-old Austrian of Turkish heritage have also been detained. Both had connections to the main suspect and were involved in the plot.
