On August 8, 2024, a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi, and Amity University, Noida. This agreement marks an extension of their ongoing five-year collaboration and was formalized under the leadership of Amity University Chancellor, Dr. Atul Chauhan, and under the aegis of the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India.

Signatories: The MoU was signed by AIIA Director, Prof. Tanuja Nesari, and Amity University Joint Registrar, Asha Premnath.

Objectives: The MoU aims to enhance collaborative efforts in education, research, and technology. Key goals include fostering academic excellence, advancing technological innovation, and supporting joint capacity-building projects. It also promotes the exchange of students and faculty for academic and research purposes.

Event Attendees: The event saw the presence of Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Vice-Chancellor of Amity University; Dr. W. Selvamurthy, President of Amity Science, Technology & Innovation Foundation; Dr. B.C. Das, Dean, and other senior members of Amity University, Uttar Pradesh.

Statements: Prof. Tanuja Nesari highlighted the MoU's alignment with the Prime Minister's Vision 2047 for a developed India, emphasizing its potential to drive forward development through shared knowledge and research.

Previous Collaborations: AIIA has established 40 MoUs with prominent national institutions, including IITs and CSIR, and 17 with international institutions, underscoring its commitment to advancing research and documentation in Ayurveda.

Additional Attendees: The event was also attended by Prof. Manjusha Rajagopala, Head of the Department of Shalakya Tantra; MS Prof. Anandaraman Sharma; and other senior faculty members of AIIA. The coordination of the event was managed by Dr. Shivani Ghildiyal, Associate Professor, Department of Dravyaguna.
