AAP and LG Office Clash Over Rani Khera Tragedy

The ruling AAP and Lieutenant Governor (LG) office clashed on Saturday regarding the deaths of two teenagers in a rainwater-filled pit on land controlled by the Delhi State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) in Rani Khera.

The AAP targeted LG VK Saxena in a statement, accusing him of issuing a notification on the Baprola industrial park but not taking responsibility for the Rani Khera incident. The party claimed Saxena has managed DSIIDC land matters for two years and should be held accountable.

Raj Niwas officials rebutted, stating that the DSIIDC is under the AAP's industry minister's control. The LG office criticized AAP's decade-long governance, terming it disastrous. An FIR has been filed against unknown individuals for negligence in connection with the deaths.
