Jharkhand Government Reshuffles Over 24 IAS Officials

Additionally, several officials were given additional charges.

In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Jharkhand government has transferred over two dozen IAS officials, including the Principal Secretary to the Governor, Nitin Madan Kulkarni. Kulkarni has been replaced by Vipra Bhal, a 2006-batch IAS officer previously assigned as Secretary to the Information Technology and E-Governance Department.

According to a notification from the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms issued late Saturday night, Kulkarni has been reassigned as the Principal Secretary of the Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Cooperative Department. Vipra Bhal will now serve as the Principal Secretary to the Governor.

Other notable transfers include new and additional charges for several officials, such as Mast Ram Meena, Sunil Kumar, Amitabh Kaushal, and many more across various departments.
