Intensified Operation to Flush Out Terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag
Security forces have intensified their operation in the Ahlan Gagarmandu forest area of Anantnag district, Jammu and Kashmir, to flush out terrorists. The encounter has resulted in the deaths of two soldiers and a civilian. Additional personnel have been deployed to eliminate the terrorists, believed to number three to four.

Security forces on Sunday intensified their efforts to flush out terrorists from the forest area of Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district. The ongoing operation in Ahlan Gagarmandu has, so far, resulted in the deaths of two soldiers and a civilian.
Additional personnel have been deployed to the forest area to eliminate the terrorists, believed to be three to four in number. 'The operation is progressing in the upper reaches of Gagarmandu with an intensive search ongoing,' Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone, V K Birdi, informed reporters near the encounter site in Kokernag.
He further stated that three soldiers were injured in an initial exchange of fire on Saturday, while two civilians were also injured. 'Two security personnel attained martyrdom, and the third is undergoing treatment and is stable. Out of the two injured civilians, one has succumbed,' Birdi added.
