In a significant development, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann met senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, on Friday. This marks Mann's first meeting with Sisodia since the latter was released on bail by the Supreme Court last week.
Sisodia, a prominent face of the AAP, was detained on February 26 last year concerning the excise policy case. The apex court granted him bail on August 9, providing a much-needed respite in the ongoing legal battle.
