The crime surfaced on March 15, 2019, when the victim’s father reported to police that his 14-year-old daughter had been raped by a neighbor.
An investigation led to the arrest of Dinesh from Nangal Mohanpur village, Mahendergarh district. He admitted to the crime. Following a thorough investigation, additional district and sessions judge Ashwani Kumar handed down the life sentence and a Rs 1 lakh fine.
