Minor Completes Mandatory Safe Driving Course After Deadly Porsche Crash

A minor who killed two persons by ramming his Porsche into a motorcycle while intoxicated has completed a court-mandated safe driving program. The incident sparked national outrage due to the lenient bail terms and an attempted cover-up. The juvenile had to write an essay on road accidents and study traffic rules.

The minor accused of killing two persons after ramming his Porsche into a motorcycle while intoxicated has completed a 15-day safe driving program, an RTO official revealed on Sunday.

The incident, which occurred on May 19 in Pune's Kalyani Nagar, involved two IT professionals from Madhya Pradesh and led to significant nationwide outrage, partly due to the leniency of the bail terms granted by the Juvenile Justice Board and attempts by family members and doctors to cover up the crime.

As part of his bail conditions, the juvenile was required to write a 300-word essay on road accidents and complete a study on traffic rules with the help of the Regional Transport Office. The RTO conducted the safe driving program discreetly to respect the juvenile's privacy.
