Mystery Surrounds Death of Woman in Bareilly Hotel

The body of an unidentified 28-year-old woman was discovered in a Bareilly hotel room. She had checked in with Mohammad Alam Hasnain Qureishi, who is suspected of her murder and remains at large. Police investigations are ongoing, especially focusing on Qureishi as the prime suspect.

A 28-year-old woman was discovered dead in a Bareilly hotel room, the police revealed on Tuesday. The unidentified woman had checked into the hotel with Mohammad Alam Hasnain Qureishi, who is now the prime suspect in the murder case.

Police reported that the woman and Qureishi arrived at the hotel on August 18, with Qureishi submitting his Aadhaar card at reception. The hotel did not take any identity proof from the woman. According to investigatory findings so far, Qureishi allegedly murdered the woman before fleeing the scene. The incident came to light after staff reported a foul odor emanating from the room.

Additional Superintendent of Police Rahul Bhati noted that the deceased had a cut mark on her neck. The police are actively investigating the matter.
