Sarada Muraleedharan Appointed as New Chief Secretary of Kerala

Sarada Muraleedharan, a senior IAS officer, will become the next Chief Secretary of Kerala, replacing her husband, V Venu. Muraleedharan, currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary (Planning), is set to take over the role after Venu's retirement on August 31.

Sarada Muraleedharan, a Senior IAS officer, is set to become the next Chief Secretary of Kerala, succeeding her husband, V Venu.

Muraleedharan, who is from the 1990 IAS batch, currently holds the position of Additional Chief Secretary (Planning).

The decision was made during a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, and she will officially assume the role after Venu's retirement on August 31.
