New Leadership in CISF and BSF: Bhatti and Chaudhary Appointed as Chiefs
Senior IPS officers Rajwinder Singh Bhatti and Daljit Singh Chaudhary have been appointed as chiefs of the CISF and BSF respectively. Bhatti, from the Bihar cadre, will serve until 2025, and Chaudhary, from the Uttar Pradesh cadre, will lead the BSF until 2025, as per an official order.

In a significant move, Senior IPS officers Rajwinder Singh Bhatti and Daljit Singh Chaudhary have been appointed as the new chiefs of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and Border Security Force (BSF), respectively.
According to an official order, Bhatti, a 1990 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Bihar cadre, will assume his role as the Director General (DG) of CISF effective from the date of taking charge until his superannuation on September 30, 2025.
Chaudhary, who currently heads the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and is also a 1990 batch IPS officer from Uttar Pradesh, will serve as the DG of BSF until his retirement on November 30, 2025.
