German State Denies Interest in Thyssenkrupp Participation

The German economy ministry has clarified that state participation in Thyssenkrupp is not being considered at this time. Subsidies for the company's green steel unit have already been approved. The German economy ministry clarified on Friday that state participation in Thyssenkrupp is currently not being considered.

"Such a solution is not currently under discussion," a ministry spokesperson stated, noting that subsidies had already been paid out and approved for the expansion of Thyssenkrupp's green steel unit.

This clarification came in light of questions regarding the future of Thyssenkrupp's steel unit, which has been jeopardized by a leadership crisis.
