Two former Georgia election workers who won a $148 million defamation judgment against Rudy Giuliani have intensified efforts to collect the debt by asking a court to seize the former New York City mayor's assets.
Ruby Freeman and Wandrea "Shaye" Moss' attorneys requested the U.S. District Court in Manhattan to transfer Giuliani's Madison Avenue apartment, any remaining cash, and New York Yankees memorabilia, including three World Series rings and a signed Joe DiMaggio shirt, into their possession.
The legal team is also targeting approximately $2 million owed to Giuliani by Donald Trump's 2020 presidential campaign and his Palm Beach condominium through receivership. The ongoing battle signifies a significant push to collect what is owed amidst allegations of Giuliani evading his financial obligations.
