The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has granted approval for SpaceX Falcon 9 to resume flight operations, even as the investigation into the anomaly experienced during the Starlink Group 8-6 mission remains ongoing.
SpaceX made the request to return to flight on August 29, and the FAA provided its approval on August 30, according to the FAA.
While the cause of the anomaly is still being investigated, this approval signals confidence in SpaceX's ability to safely continue its flight operations in the interim.
