Woman Molested in Moving Bus; Accused Arrested After Chase

A woman was allegedly molested by a fellow passenger on a bus in Kasba. Passengers apprehended the attacker, who was later arrested after trying to flee. The woman has filed a complaint, and an investigation is ongoing.

A woman was allegedly molested by a fellow passenger inside a moving bus in Kasba area on Tuesday morning, police reported.

The incident occurred around 9.30 am when the woman, in her mid-20s, began to scream. Fellow passengers apprehended the accused and beat him up, said the police.

The suspect managed to deboard the bus and attempted to flee, but nearby individuals stopped him and escorted him to Kasba Police Station. The woman filed a complaint, and the accused was subsequently arrested. She was commuting from Kasba to Phoolbagan for work at the time. An investigation is currently underway.
