Bhadohi Raid: Child Labor Scandal Involving MLA Zahid Beg

Bhadohi police and Labour Enforcement Department officials raided the residence of Samajwadi Party MLA Zahid Beg on Tuesday, rescuing a 14-year-old girl engaged in child labor.

The raid followed the discovery of a domestic help, Nazia, found hanging in her room at Beg's house on Monday. Nazia had been employed there for eight years.

The rescued minor, also employed as a domestic help, has been sent for a medical examination. Authorities are preparing a case against the MLA concerning Nazia's death and the child labor allegations.
