Two terrorists affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) were killed in an ongoing military operation in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district, the Army confirmed on Wednesday.

This marks the first successful operation in the dense Basantgarh forest, which has seen half a dozen encounters in the last six months.

Officials revealed that another terrorist remains trapped, and efforts to neutralize him are ongoing at Khandara top. The Army and police initiated the operation with the first contact made around 12:50 pm.
