J&K BJP Unveils Progressive Plans Post-Article 370 Abrogation

The J&K BJP has announced significant changes and future initiatives in Jammu and Kashmir following the abrogation of Article 370. The Centre has implemented 890 central laws and repealed 209 state laws in the Union Territory (UT), according to J&K BJP spokesperson Y V Sharma.

Outlining the party's vision, Sharma stated that if the BJP forms the government in J&K, it will allocate five marlas of land to the landless and establish separate colonies for the poor. Additional measures include providing 10 kilograms of rice and one kilogram of sugar to the impoverished, and facilitating affordable healthcare.

Sharma further detailed the party's commitment to social welfare. Among the initiatives, an annual pension of Rs 18,000 will be provided to the oldest woman in each family. Widows, the physically challenged, and the elderly will see their monthly pensions increased to Rs 3,000 from the current Rs 1,000. Sharma reaffirmed the BJP's focus on uplifting the marginalized and ensuring welfare for all.
