The strike in the Lebanese town of Younine came amid increased hostilities, with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati expressing hope for a ceasefire soon.

The United States, France, and several allies have called for an immediate 21-day ceasefire along the Israel-Lebanon border, with an added push for a truce in Gaza.
