Delhi Police have apprehended a woman for allegedly tricking individuals into believing they could secure railway tenders and other contracts through her, according to police statements on Friday.

Meenakshi Aggarwal and her husband, Abhishek Aggarwal, were declared proclaimed offenders in two fraud cases and carried a Rs 25,000 bounty for information leading to their arrest. Meenakshi was captured in Jaipur on Thursday while Abhishek remains on the run, authorities said.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Satish Kumar stated that the couple misled several people by enticing them to invest in their fraudulent schemes. They maintained a luxurious lifestyle with the swindled money and pretended to have substantial earnings. Victims were assured huge profits to attract further investments, but once they received the advance, the couple would disappear and turn off their phones to avoid capture.
