Fatal Accident in Erode: Wall Collapse Claims One Life

An unauthorized wall demolition in Erode Town led to a deadly collapse, killing Subramaniam and seriously injuring Anand. The incident occurred early Tuesday morning when Murugesan attempted to merge two leased shops without municipal permission. The police are investigating the case.

In a tragic incident early Tuesday in Erode Town, one person was killed, and another was seriously injured during an unauthorized wall demolition, police reported.

Murugesan, who leased two shops at the Mohammed Abdul Gani Textile market, attempted to merge them without municipal consent.

The wall collapsed onto Subramaniam (50) and Anand (45), resulting in Subramaniam's instant death and Anand's critical injuries. The Erode Town Police have launched an investigation.
