Lebanese PM Mikati Calls for Immediate Ceasefire Amid Escalating Conflict
Lebanon's caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, called for an immediate ceasefire to halt the increased hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah. The conflict has displaced approximately 1.2 million people in Lebanon. Mikati emphasized the urgent need to stop the bloodshed and destruction in a briefing by the American Task Force on Lebanon.
Lebanon's caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati has urgently called for a ceasefire amid escalating hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah.
During a briefing organized by the American Task Force on Lebanon, Mikati highlighted the displacement of around 1.2 million people due to the conflict.
"Stop fighting. We don't need more blood. We don't need more destruction," Mikati implored, stressing the need to end the violence immediately.
