The Pune police have initiated a technical analysis to assess the legitimacy of the email, which was sent two days prior, as mentioned by a senior police official. The email purportedly used the gang's name to intimidate the jeweller.
Authorities are currently examining the email's authenticity and whether it might be the work of a fraudster. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has previously threatened prominent figures, including actor Salman Khan, and is linked to other high-profile cases.
