Tragic Assault Sparks Arrests in East Delhi

A young man named Arpit, also known as Golu, died following a brutal beating by several individuals, including the brother of a woman he was associated with, in East Delhi's Jagatpuri area. Three people have been arrested, while a search continues for the other suspects involved.

A 21-year-old man succumbed to injuries sustained in a violent attack involving the brother of a woman he associated with and nearly half a dozen accomplices in East Delhi's Jagatpuri area, police reported on Sunday.

Authorities have apprehended three individuals, including the woman's brother. The assault, which involved 6-7 men, occurred on Friday near Shahdra. The victim, Arpit, also known as Golu, was initially treated at Hedgewar Hospital.

Later that night, Arpit's condition worsened, and he was rushed to GTB Hospital, where he was declared dead. A case has been filed based on a complaint by Arpit's brother-in-law, who was present during the altercation. The police continue to search for additional suspects.
