Union Minister of Labour & Employment and Youth Affairs & Sports, Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, officially launched the "eShram – One Stop Solution" today in New Delhi. The event was also attended by Union Minister of State for Labour & Employment, Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, and senior officials from the Ministry of Labour & Employment.

During the launch, Dr Mandaviya emphasized the increasing trust in the eShram portal, highlighting that 60,000 to 90,000 workers join the platform daily. He stressed that the platform will provide seamless access to various social security schemes for unorganized workers, streamlining their connection to government welfare programs.

Dr Mandaviya pointed out that eShram – One Stop Solution is designed to simplify the registration process for unorganized workers, ensuring easier access to government schemes aimed at improving their livelihoods. "This platform will act as a bridge, connecting workers to the numerous benefits offered by the government and making the registration process more transparent and efficient," he said.

He encouraged all unorganized workers to register on the eShram portal, which will unlock a wide range of social security and welfare programs, enhancing their overall well-being.

Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, Minister of State, emphasized the importance of integrating state government portals with eShram to ensure last-mile connectivity and reach potential beneficiaries across all regions. She noted that this initiative will help identify workers who have been left out, ensuring comprehensive coverage of government schemes at the state and district levels.

The One Stop Solution consolidates data from various central ministries and departments into a unified platform. Key welfare schemes, including the One Nation One Ration Card, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP), National Career Service (NCS), and Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan, have already been integrated into eShram, with additional welfare programs expected to join the platform soon.

This initiative aligns with the government's broader mission of improving social security access for millions of unorganized workers across India.
