A deadly clash in Moranwali village has claimed the lives of three men, with two others wounded, officials confirmed on Saturday.
The Hoshiarpur Senior Superintendent of Police, Surendra Lamba, reported that the deceased were Manpreet Singh, Sukhpiar Singh, and Saranpreet Singh. The confrontation ensued between two local groups.
Police were called to the scene around 2 pm, where they found the victims with sharp-edged weapon injuries. The injured, Gurpreet Singh and Deepakpreet Singh, are now hospitalized. Initial findings indicate a prior conflict between the parties. An FIR has been filed as investigations continue.
